Familia, mucha familia, amor y naturaleza.

Me encanto.

Sometimes when you are back from holidays you feel even more
tired than before… I have to tell you something… this is absolutely NOT the case! I had a
hard year, good one but full of things, I usually feel that I can do whatever and everything at the same time.... and by the end of the year I felt kind of overwhelmed… but there is nothing that this
kind of holiday cannot solve. I feel different now, full of energy again… Do you want the recipe? Family, loads of it,
love and nature.
One of the weekends of my trip back home this summer (or winter for
Europe) we went to El Tigre a city in Buenos Aires located in the Parana Delta.
We took the ferry at the Tigre port and it took us to the middle of nowhere in
the river El Capitan. Where the cars become boats, kayaks and
water-skies. In the air there was nothing but peace, and by night the darkness was as dark as the darkness itself. It reminded me of when I went back-packing to the south of Argentina with my friends, with nothing but our tents. Ooohhh those old
good times.
It was just a weekend, a little runaway from the city. What did we do? NOTHING! We just had fun between us, we bathe in the brown waters of the river, we read, we played cards, we slept sweet naps in the hammocks and we ate homemade simple exquisite food.

Like every Argentinian house there was a grill and next to it an oven that made A.’s eyes glow! That night, in that enchanted gallery, we had homemade pizzas made by A. for dinner. I give you his recipe here, they are thin, crunchy pizzas; I absolutely love them!! Pizzas, beers, cards and when we were tired enough… to bed! The shower was not invited, we are wild.
Finally,
to keep ¨punishing¨ ourselves, we had lomitos for lunch the day after. The guys
turned on the fire and the most simple and delicious lomito sandwiches were
making our lives so happy! I absolutely loved this weekend; I loved to be
surrounded by the people I love the most in this world, with nothing but us.
