Orgía de frutas de verano / Summer fruits orgy

(English version below)

English version

Ever since I moved to London my free time has been significantly reduced. The thing is that London is a quite demanding city, between work, commuting and on top of that trying to keep up with everything going on in the city I am exhausted. In between I went a couple of days to Italy with my family to enjoy the beach and sun that seems to be so scarce here in London
I have to say however that this summer is being very generous with us. To my surprise we are having very sunny days and although it is not as hot as in Italy (except in the tube that is a human oven) it is fairly hot.

I am loving summer here so far, everyone is outside, girls in little dresses and boys in shorts. Bursting pubs and parks that are amazed to be the centre of attention for so long, markets, festivals, open air cinemas, etc. London in summer is unbelievable!
There are many rumors about London out there and one of them is that the food is not good.... I am afraid that I have to disagree with that... There is such a variety of choices and good choices! Of course you can end up in a disgusting oily fish and chips restaurant if you are not careful enough but you can also go to "rock and sole" and have the most amazing fish and chips you have ever eaten. The choice is yours. Besides with the amount of markets in every borough I can tell you that the vegetables and fruits are wonderful and fresh.
And this is what I want to show you today. I fall in love with these summery, tasty and juicy fruits I found at two footsteps from my door. They are not only a pretty face... they are as gorgeous from the inside than they are from the outside. I bought so many that I had fruits for lunch and dinner for a whole week (ok I am exaggerating a bit...). Each bite was an explosion of flavors, pure ecstasy.
I made a simple salad with the fruits you see, I added some grounded hazelnuts, two tablespoons of sugar and some vanilla extract to make it even more irresistible.
Touching heaven with my bare hands... Enjoy summer
