Un snack con pan casero y verduras lindas / A home-made bread with beautiful vegetables snack

English version below

(hacemos pizza casera?), me dijo. Y yo feliz! Pizza a go-go, hasta reventar!

Hi there! this post is the most spontaneous I've ever made, it just came like that, and it begun through the eyes. I usually think about the recipe I will share with you, it has to be interesting or have something that makes it special (at least for me....). I wanted to put something sweet today but the way I ended up with this sandwich deserves sharing.
It all started in Saint Valentin's day. With A. we don't usually make a big deal about it. Neither in Italy nor in Argentina is soooo imporatnt as it is here apparently. However as a girl I am... I get rapidly infuenced by the publicity and I asked A. very casually... ¨hey babe what are we doing for St Valentine's day?¨ and he came with an idea that I wouldn't reject (and he knew it). He said  ¨what about home made pizzas at home¨, yeahhhh I am in!
I already showed you how to make A.'s wonderful pizzas so this is not today's recipe. It is more about the yeast necessary for it. Believe it or not, in London is not that easy to find fresh yeast, I only found a pack with 4 yeast cubes and we only used one for the pizza. With the rest... I made bread.

Sunday morning, after breakfast and some walking around in the house I decided to go into the kitchen. If I wanted to make bread I new where to look for advises, so I went to have a look at the blog ¨Bake the world¨ and I started my bread journey. I was missing some ingredients so I quickly went out to buy some stuff and on my way I stopped by the fruit and vegetable shop. I bought these tiny lovely cress (that I have never seen before, and I know now why Aran uses them so much!), the reddest and most fleshy cherry tomatoes, and the cutest little onions!!! Everything was shouting, photograph me!

I went back home and started with the bread, I found a very nice recipe from ¨Cerezos en flor¨ with a yogurt sourdough. I loved this recipe! the bread turns out to be dense but spongy, very very nice. While the bread was raising I started shooting photos of the veggies I bought before. The light of the late afternoon was completely ideal for it! While I was shooting, I couldn't think of anything but to eat what I had in front of me, I imagined the soft onions with the sweet touch of the tomatoes and the freshness of the cress inside a bread buns just coming out of the oven.

I went straight to the kitchen and put the bread in the oven, cooked the onion and tomatoes and once everything was ready, I prepared myself the most wonderful sandwich! A few pics of my trophy and I was enjoying my creation. Such a wonderful feeling, maybe the beauty of the vegetables, the smell of the home baked bread and the spontaneity of the the result made everything perfect!
Keep this filling in mind for a big dinner you may have, since it can make a very good and easy topping  on a toasted bread slice. I pre-cooked the rest of the buns and put the in the freezer once cooled down, so whenever I want some bread I put them straight in the oven!
